Now, I’m supposed to choose one character from a work-in-progress or a recently published book and answer seven easy questions. Here goes!

What is the name of your character? Is he/she fictional or a historic person?

Aimee Richardson. She is fictional.

When and where is the story set?   The story is set in a high school in the current year and world (not dystopian) 2014.

What should we know about him/her?

Aimee has a unique gift that she calls a curse. With one touch, one graze over your skin, and she’s able to absorb all of your memories. And with memories come secrets.

What is the main conflict? What messes up his/her life?

The main conflict is that everyone around Aimee is going crazy. Literally. Since they are out of their minds they are doing strange things and harming others before eventually falling into comas. When those that Aimee loves begin to fall ill as well, she is determined to find a way to help them and embarks on a journey exploring her powers.

What is the personal goal of the character?

Aimee’s main goal is to avoid absorbing memories. However, with kids around her going crazy at school, it forces her to break free from the chains that keep her from others to help the ones she loves. she is forced to deal with the consequences of her curse.

Is there a working title for this novel and can we read more about it?

Yes – It’s called “The Haunting of Secrets book 2: Unhinged”
